The Weil-Blakelsey Nasal Cutting Forceps are used in endoscopic sinus surgery to remove the bulla ethmoidalis and other ethmoidal air cells.The forceps has a distal hinge and the blades open at the tip of the instrument, and this provides access to the narrow spaces of the nasal cavity.
This forceps is also available as 45 Degree angled or 90 degree angled.These upturned forceps are more suitable to reach the structures that are higher up in the nasal cavity and the lateral wall of the nose.

Kilner Alar Hook consists of a central flat handle and a hook-type working end. The handle has coarse horizontal ridges that prevent slippage.
Additionally, the alar hook features a sharp double pronged tip. Therefore, the tip grants maximum nostril retraction and optimal exposure of the surgical field.
Also, the alar hook provides vision of the alar cartilage during an eversion technique. This feature decreases the need of further incisions.
